PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, a driver struck and killed a man near N 79th Ave and McDowell Rd on Saturday.
The driver hit the victim outside of a marked crosswalk just before midnight.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene. They did not display signs of impairment.
Investigators believe that other drivers may have run over the victim after the initial collision.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
