TEMPE, AZ – A driver hit and injured a motorcyclist near S 48th St and E Southern Ave on Tuesday, according to CBS 5.
A driver turned left onto westbound E Southern Ave when they failed to yield to the right of way and collided with a motorcyclist heading south on 48th St around 6 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the collision.
The Tempe Police Department is investigating the incident.
