News: Deputies investigate deadly 2-car crash in Maricopa County

MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ – According to CBS 5, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that happened near W Indian School Rd and N 339th Ave on Sunday.

The two vehicles collided around 7:50 p.m. The impact caused one of the vehicles to roll over on its side.

Rescue crews pronounced one person dead at the scene. They extricated another person from their vehicle and transported them to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officials have not released the victims’s names.
