NORTH PHOENIX, AZ – A cyclist was sent to a hospital following a hit-and-run crash that happened in North Phoenix on Friday, according to 12News.
A driver struck the cyclist in the area of North 27th Avenue and West Northern Avenue. The driver did not render aid to the cyclist and fled the scene in their vehicle prior to the first responders’ arrival at 5 a.m.
Phoenix fire and EMS crews hurried the cyclist to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are working to determine what the suspect looks like and what kind of vehicle they were driving.
The general public is urged to contact police at the phone number listed in the initial source if they have any information on the suspect and Friday’s hit-and-run crash. Anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest may be entitled to a $1,000 reward.
