MESA, AZ – An 8-year-old girl and two men are dead following a wrong-way crash near E Southern Ave and S Val Vista Dr on Monday, according to AZFamily.
Damarya Zyberi, 29, allegedly stole a Ford F-250 from Gilbert. Zyberi was driving the Ford when he strayed into oncoming traffic and hit a Nissan Armada SUV head-on around 8 a.m.
First responders pronounced Zyberi and the SUV driver, Troy Garlock, 42, dead at the scene. They transported an 8-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl to an area hospital, where the 8-year-old girl died.
The driver of a Nissan Sentra was also involved in the collision. They were not hurt in the incident.
