News: BNSF train fatally strikes man in Central Phoenix 

CENTRAL PHOENIX, AZ – A male pedestrian lost his life after he was fatally struck by a BNSF train in Central Phoenix Saturday, KTAR News reports.

The pedestrian collision took place around 2 a.m. at the intersection of West Buchanan Street and South 11th Avenue.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Phoenix police. Officers have since identified him as 33-year-old Dominique Mayes.

A full investigation is underway.
