PHOENIX, AZ – The Arizona Department of Transportation and fire crews had to shut down SR 51 South along Colter Street due to a Thursday afternoon vehicle fire.

AzDOT first announced the incident at 4:34 p.m. and said workers shut down the majority of lanes. All lanes reopened at 4:59 p.m.
Officials have not specified the exact cause of the fire or said if anyone was injured.
