SCOTTSDALE, AZ – The Arizona Department of Transportation was called to the scene of several crashes that were blocking several lanes on Loop 101 on Thursday.
Crews reported the crash after 9 p.m. and said it happened on the southbound lanes. First responders who were summoned to the scene have not said if slick road conditions were a contributing factor in the crash.
The extent of injuries and the number of people and vehicles involved in the collision have not been confirmed.
