BUCKEYE, AZ – The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the details behind a fatal crash involving a big rig that occurred on Interstate 10 East on Friday.
Fox10Phoenix said the incident unfolded when a car driver veered across all eastbound lanes and collided with a big rig, which caused it to overturn.
The impact of the collision led to the car driver’s death.
Officials shut down the eastbound lanes of I-10 along Hassayampa Road and near Palo Verde Road for the scene clean-up process.
DPS has not released the decedent’s identity and is working to determine the contributing factors behind the fatal crash.
