News: Authorities arrest alleged hit-and-run driver for fatal crash in New River

NEW RIVER, AZ – Authorities have arrested a man they believe fatally struck a jogger at 7th Ave and W Cloud Rd on Feb. 23, according to 12 News.

Jacob Moore, 21, was driving a pickup truck when he allegedly hit and killed Lisa Mancuso, 43, around 10 a.m.

Authorities announced that the pickup truck that hit Mancuso belonged to a law enforcement officer and that the suspect was a relative of the officer on Feb. 27.

Moore surrendered to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Unit on Monday after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The MCSO is investigating the incident.
