PHOENIX, AZ – At least one person was killed in a collision that occurred on I-10 East near 24th Street Saturday, Fox10Phoenix reports.
The collision happened around 3:15 p.m. and prompted a several-hour-long shutdown that lasted just before 8:30 p.m. During this time, transportation crews cleaned up the debris from the crash and worked to restore safe road conditions.
The Arizona Department of Transportation has not specified the exact cause of the crash.
