News: Alleged DUI driver arrested after two-vehicle crash in Mesa

MESA, AZ – Arizona Department of Public Safety arrested a driver on suspicion of DUI after a two-vehicle crash that happened last Friday, May 15.

The alleged DUI driver had crashed into another vehicle, carrying three people, on State Route 87 near Desert Lane, AZFamily said.

The suspected impaired driver had several unopened bottles of alcohol in their car and took a field sobriety test, and got a result of 0.129%. DPS has not released the identity of the driver or confirmed the events leading up to the crash.
