PHOENIX, AZ – A man was struck and killed while crossing the road in far west Phoenix early this morning.
According to a report by the Arizona Republic, 61-year-old Timothy Splinter was attempting to cross mid-block near 35th Avenue and McDowell Road at about 4:30 p.m. when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
Splinter was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unclear at this time if the driver will face any charges.
