EAST PHOENIX, AZ – Four people were left in critical condition as a result of a multi-vehicle wreck that happened Friday, AZ Family reports.
The collision happened before 8 p.m., at the intersection of 40th Street and McDowell Road. According to the police’s preliminary details, they suspect that a person driving a white truck was speeding and impaired when they crashed into several vehicles.
The impact of the crash left one person entrapped in their vehicle. Local fire crews extricated that person, and EMS crews took four people, three men, and one woman to a hospital for treatment of their serious injuries.
A work truck and SUV were also significantly damaged.
An investigation is underway.
