News: 3 teens dead following single-vehicle crash in Mesa

MESA, AZ – Three teenagers died in a single-vehicle collision near Ellsworth Rd and Guadalupe Rd Wednesday, according to 12 News.

The driver was heading east on Guadalupe Rd when they lost control and collided with a curb before striking a boulder and a light pole around 9 p.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the driver and front passenger dead at the scene of the accident and transported the other two passengers to an area hospital, where one of them died.

Authorities believe speed and weather conditions played a factor in the incident.

The victims ranged in age from 14-17.
