MESA, AZ – According to AZFamily, a 3-month-old boy died in a three-vehicle collision near S Power Rd and E Baseline Rd on Sunday.
The driver of a Honda Civic was heading west on Baseline Rd around 1:30 p.m. when they crashed into a Subaru Forester and an Audi that was stopped at a red light at Power Rd.
The collisions sent the Forester into the intersection, where it rolled over.
Rescue crews transported two adults from the Forester to an area hospital with minor injuries. Crews transported two children from the Forester to the hospital, where the three-month-old boy died.
Paramedics also took the Honday driver to an area hospital.
Authorities believe speed was a factor in the collision.
