TEMPE, AZ – An Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper sustained injuries in a wrong-way crash on NB Loop 101 between Calle Gaudalupe and W. Baseline Rd. on Sunday morning.
According to KTAR NEWS, the Arizona DPS trooper struck a red Cadillac sedan head-on that was traveling south on NB Loop 101 around 4:35 a.m.
Both the trooper and the Cadillac driver were transported to a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
Local authorities suspect the 22-year-old driver of the Cadillac was impaired.
