PHOENIX, AZ – Two people were killed when a blown tire caused a major crash on the Beeline Highway Sunday afternoon.
According to a report by 12 News, the crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. just south of the SR-188 interchange.
Investigators say the driver lost control after losing a tire on the roadway. The SUV slammed through a barrier before ending up in a nearby creek.
Two occupants were ejected from the SUV and died at the scène. Their identities are unclear at this time.
