News: 2 injured in crash caused by a hit-and-run driver in Winona Park

PHOENIX, AZ – According to 12 News, an 18-month-old baby and a 13-year-old child were injured in a multi-vehicle crash at westbound I-10 near 43rd Ave Saturday.

The wreck happened around 7 p.m. Following the collision, the driver fled the scene of the accident before being captured by the police.

Authorities believe impairment may have been a factor in the incident.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the traffic accident.
