News: 2 hurt following auto vs. pedestrian crash in southeast Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, a driver struck and seriously injured two people near 40th St and E Broadway Rd on Sunday.

A driver hit a man and a woman at a bus stop around 7:55 a.m.

First responders transported the two victims to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver fled the scene following the collision.

Emergency crews shut down the area to process the scene.
