News: 2 hurt after alleged DUI driver crashes into Tempe home

TEMPE, AZ – Two people were injured after an alleged DUI driver crashed into a Tempe home on Sunday, 12News reports. 

The single-vehicle collision occurred off the intersection of East Baseline Road and Rural Road. The alleged impaired driver crashed through a home’s backyard wall and struck a woman and her child. 

EMS crews transported the woman and child to a hospital. 

The woman is listed in stable condition, while the child remains in serious condition. 

The driver was uninjured in this single-vehicle collision. 

No arrests and charges have been reported at this time.
