News: 2 hospitalized after two-vehicle collision in West Phoenix 

WEST PHOENIX, AZ – Two people were sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that occurred east of Desert Park West on Friday.

Fox10Phoenix said the crash happened overnight at the intersection of 59th Avenue and Thomas Road. Video footage showed a pickup truck and a red sedan at the scene.

The front half of that red sedan was completely damaged, with a car door completely gone. Authorities did not specify the physical conditions of the two injured occupants.

Authorities shut down 59th Avenue between Thomas Road and West Earll Drive to accommodate the scene clearance process.

Officials have not specified how the crash unfolded or announced any citations at this time.
