MESA, AZ – According to 12 News, two children died in a crash near Loop 202 Red Mountain Fwy and E McKellips Rd on Wednesday.
A pickup truck driver collided with a flatbed tow truck parked on the shoulder.
Three children were in the bed of the pickup truck. An 11-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy died in the collision. The driver and the third child suffered minor injuries.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
