PHOENIX, AZ – One person lost their life and several others were injured in a collision between two SUVs and a flatbed commercial truck on Tuesday.
The ArizonaFamily said the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on southbound I-17 north of the Camelback Road overpass.
EMS crews took several people to a hospital, where one person later died.
Arizona Department of Public Safety shut down several lanes of I-17 South along Camelback Road for the scene clearance and overall investigation. All lanes reopened around 3:30 p.m.
