News: 1 hospitalized in 3-vehicle Tempe crash

TEMPE, AZ – Medics transported one person to the hospital after three SUVs collided at an intersection in central Maricopa County on Friday morning, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.

The incident happened just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway Road and College Avenue, which is just southeast of Daley Park.

Police say that a northbound SUV collided with a westbound SUV as it turned left from East Broadway Road onto South College Avenue. The second SUV then crashed into a third SUV, and the two vehicles ignited.

One person went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
