PHOENIX, AZ – A driver died following a wrong-way crash near N 15th Ave and W Peoria Ave Sunday, according to AZ Family.
Matthew Heard, 46, was driving east on W Peoria Ave when he strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with a pickup truck around 3 a.m.
Rescue crews transported Heard and the two pickup truck occupants to an area hospital, where Heard later died.
Authorities believe the pickup truck driver displayed signs of impairment and arrested him for DUI.
