PHOENIX, AZ – According to CBS 5, a female pedestrian died following a hit-and-run crash near 41st St and Indian School Rd on Feb 16.
Maria Arrellano Ramos, 59, was walking across Indian School Rd outside of a marked crosswalk when an eastbound car hit her around 6:30 a.m. A westbound vehicle then struck Ramos. The second driver fled the scene.
Rescue crews transported Ramos to an area hospital, where she died.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact them.
