News: 1 dead following fiery 3-vehicle crash on AZ 95 in Bullhead City

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ – One person died following a three-vehicle collision on AZ 95 near Retail Way on Friday, according to CBS 5.

The driver of a Hyundai Accent rear-ended a Nissan Rouge that was stopped at a red light. The collision sent the Nissan crashing into a Honda Accord around 1:15 p.m.

The impact caused the Hyundai to become engulfed in flames. The fire spread to the Nissan. A passerby helped a female passenger to exit the vehicle before it caught on fire.

Rescue crews transported the woman to an area hospital, where she died.

Nobody else was hurt in the incident.

The Bullhead City Police Department is investigating the incident. The driver of the Hyundai is cooperating with the investigation.
