PHOENIX, AZ – According to 12 News, a teen died and six others were hurt in a two-vehicle collision at N 30th St and E Greenway Rd on Sunday.
Bartolome Godinez-Perez, 36, was allegedly impaired when he drove the wrong way and collided with a car occupied by two adults and five juveniles around 8 a.m.
Rescue crews transported all seven people in the car that was hit to the hospital, where one of the juveniles died.
Following the crash, Godinez-Perez stayed at the scene.
Authorities arrested Godinez-Perez and charged him with DUI and manslaughter.
