PHOENIX, AZ – One pedestrian died, and another was taken to the hospital following a hit-and-run crash.
12News first reported the incident on Sunday, Sept. 27, saying it happened at the intersection of 67th Avenue and Broadway Road. There, a vehicle struck the two pedestrians.
The driver fled the scene prior to police arrival. Investigators have determined that the suspect was operating a 2011-2014 Granite Crystal (Metallic Gray) Dodge Charger and sustained damage to the driver’s bumper near the wheel well.
The vehicle’s front driver-side mirror was also missing. The hood and front fender could also have been left with serious damage.
