News: 1 critically hurt in crash after vehicle runs red light at Glendale intersection

GLENDALE, AZ – One person was hospitalized with major injuries after a two-vehicle wreck in northeast Glendale, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.

The incident unfolded at 51st Avenue and Peoria Avenue. It was first reproted by FOX 10 at 7:09 a.m.

Preliminary details indicate one driver ran a red light at the intersection, which led to one vehicle colliding with another.

One person suffered injuries considered life-threatening.

An investigation was underway, but officials said impairment is not believed to have been a contributing factor.
