News: 1 airlifted to hospital after multi-vehicle crash involving truck near Congress 

NEAR CONGRESS, AZ – One person was airlifted to a hospital after a multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer on U.S. 93 on Thursday, 12News reports.

The crash was between three cars and the truck, and left one person with life-threatening injuries, who was sent to the emergency room.

Arizona Department of Transportation and AZ Department of Public Safety shut down both directions of the highway, along Date Creek Ranch Road, for the scene clean-up process.

No citations have been reported.

DPS is working to determine the cause of the crash.
