PHOENIX, AZ – Two police officers and a suspected drunk driver suffered injuries in a collision near Dunlap Avenue early Wednesday morning, KTAR News reports.
The accident occurred at 19th Avenue and Dunlap Avenue around 4:20 am. Two police officers in a marked SUV were struck by a driver in a pickup truck. According to police, the driver of the pickup truck showed signs of intoxication.
Both police officers and the pickup driver were taken to the hospital. The severity of their injuries is unknown at this time.
