News: Male pedestrian critically injured in hit-and-run on 16th St near PIMC

PHOENIX, AZ – A man suffered life-threatening injuries late Saturday night, August 24, when he was struck by a vehicle near Phoenix Indian Medical Center, according to ABC 15 Arizona.

The incident unfolded on 16th Street, just south of Indian School Road, at around 10:15 p.m.

Authorities have not released a statement indicating the circumstances of the event, but Phoenix police arrived on scene to find the man with serious injuries. By that time, the involved driver had fled the scene.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
