PHOENIX, AZ – The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a deadly auto vs. pedestrian collision that happened near N 43rd Ave and W Glendale Ave on Tuesday, according to 12 News.
A driver struck the pedestrian as he was crossing 43rd Ave around 7:15 p.m. A second driver then collided with the car that hit the pedestrian, causing the first car to strike the pedestrian another time.
Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the pedestrian’s name.
Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the incident.
