PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZ Family, a suspected impaired driver collided with a police vehicle on Bell Rd near 7th Ave on Friday.
The officer was on eastbound Bell Rd when a driver turned left in front of them.
Rescue crews transported the officer to an area hospital, where they were treated and released.
Authorities charged the driver with DUI.
