PHOENIX, AZ – A male pedestrian died Monday morning after a vehicle struck him near a busy intersection in the Siesta Village neighborhood of Phoenix, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.
Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. near the intersection of North 43rd Avenue and West Indian School Road.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the pedestrian, who died at the scene of the crash.
Police found and arrested a suspected driver not long after locating a gold vehicle that fit the description of the sedan witnesses say hit the pedestrian.
A full investigation of the incident is underway.
