News: Women in serious condition after Youngstown pedestrian crashes  

YOUNGTOWN, AZ – Two women were left in serious condition after two separate pedestrian crashes that happened along the Agua Fria River on Tuesday. 

The collisions took place before 10 p.m. in the area of North 111th Avenue and Grand Avenue, according to Fox10Phoenix

Preliminary details show that a driver struck a female pedestrian and did not stay at the scene. A female driver saw what happened and rushed to help the fallen female pedestrian, who was struck by another vehicle. 

The driver of the second vehicle remained at the accident scene. 

EMS crews rushed to the scene and transported the pedestrians to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries. 

Phoenix police are actively working to determine what the hit-and-run suspect and their vehicle looked like. 

Police did not announce any citations or charges for the driver who stayed at the scene.
