PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, the Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal single-vehicle wreck that occurred on Arizona 51 southbound between Northern Avenue and East Shea Boulevard Sunday morning.
A woman crashed around 12:30 a.m. She was not wearing her seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle in the collision.
Crews shut down the area to process the scene. All lanes were reopened at 8 a.m.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
