TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Police Department has identified the victim of the fatal crash that occurred at a South Sixth Avenue intersection on Sunday afternoon, News 4 Tucson reports.
The victim was identified as 33-year-old Oscar Pedro Salazar. Salazar was reportedly driving east on Michigan Drive around 3 pm on Sunday when his vehicle was struck by a speeding Ford Mustang at the Sixth Avenue intersection.
Salazar was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
