News: Motorcyclist dies following northwest Phoenix crash

PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, a motorcyclist died following a multi-vehicle collision at North 59th Avenue and West Glenrosa Avenue on Tuesday.

Joshua Duante Johnson, 33, was riding a motorcycle north on North 59th Avenue when he hit a southbound driver turning left onto West Glenrosa Avenue around 3:45 p.m.

The wreck sent Johnson crashing into a second southbound vehicle.

First responders pronounced Johnson dead at the scene.

Following the wreck, the two drivers remained at the scene.

Authorities believe Johnson’s speed may have been a factor in the incident.
