PHOENIX, AZ – A man died after a motorcycle collision that happened west of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Monday, according to AZ Family.
The male motorcyclist was struck by another vehicle while crossing the intersection of South 16th Street and Riverview Drive. Phoenix police and EMS crews responded to the scene after 10 p.m.
Ambulance personnel hurried the motorcyclist to a hospital, where he later lost his life.
The other driver stayed at the scene.
Officials shut down the area for the cleanup process and investigation. Authorities have not announced any charges or citations at this time.
