News: 1 killed, 1 injured in crash that damaged Mesa home 

MESA, AZ – One person lost their life and another person was injured as a result of a single-vehicle crash that damaged a Mesa home Saturday.

According to AZ Family, the driver of the SUV had lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a home’s cinder block wall off Val Vista Drive and Pueblo Avenue.

The force of the crash sent some cinder blocks into the wall, leaving it with some damage. The home occupants were uninjured. The SUV itself was totaled, and the driver and their passenger were left in serious condition.

EMS crews transported both occupants to a hospital. There, one person died from their injuries.

Officials did not specify whether it was the driver or the passenger who died from their injuries.

The exact cause of the collision is under investigation.
