WEST PHOENIX, AZ – Three people were taken to the emergency room following a rollover collision in West Phoenix on Thursday.
According to ArizonaFamily, two vehicles collided in the area of South 47th Avenue and West Buckeye Road, which caused one of them to overturn.
Police and fire crews pulled up to the scene around 5 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters extricated a driver from the overturned vehicle.
EMS transported the extricated driver and the other motorist and their passenger to a hospital.
It appears the second driver and their passenger are recovering from serious injuries, while the extricated motorist appears to be in critical condition.
Authorities closed Buckeye Road in both directions to allow crews to clean up debris from the crash and for the overall investigation.
