PHOENIX, AZ – A person sustained critical injuries as a result of a pedestrian-vehicle crash in Phoenix on Tuesday.
The incident happened in the area of Peoria Avenue and Cave Creek Road. According to AZFamily, police believe a driver was traveling south when they crashed their vehicle into a pedestrian.
Phoenix police and fire/EMS responded to the scene around 10 p.m. Upon arrival, medics rushed the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police confirmed the driver cooperated with investigators and was not arrested.
