PHOENIX, AZ – One person died, and three others were injured in a single rollover collision in Phoenix on Saturday, 12News reports.
The incident unfolded around 3 a.m. off 19th Avenue and Peoria Avenue. A man had allegedly pointed a gun at a person at a local business before driving away in a white Nissan Armada.
Police spotted the driver of the Nissan a short time later and tried to pull him over. He fled the scene again and drove at a high rate of speed before he lost control of his vehicle and crashed it. The vehicle overturned, and ejected the driver and his three passengers.
Subsequently, EMS crews rushed the male driver and three others to a hospital. There, a 33-year-old woman died from her injuries.
At the time of the reporting, Phoenix fire crews said the woman, prior to her death, and the three others were in critical or “extremely critical condition.” Their current physical conditions are unknown.
