BUCKEYE, AZ – At least one person was injured in a semi-truck rollover collision near Buckeye on Wednesday.
AZFamily said a semi-truck hauling boxes of bananas had overturned on Interstate 10 East near Palo Verde Road.
All the boxes of bananas spilled onto the side of the road, impacting traffic. During the congestion, crews took their time to clean up the boxes of bananas and other debris as a result of the crash.
No other vehicles were involved. The Arizona Department of Transportation is actively working to determine the cause of the semi-truck rollover collision.
