NEAR FORT MCDOWELL, AZ – Multiple people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on State Route 87 North, reported around 10 a.m. on Monday.
AZ Family said a motorcycle and a sedan collided on the northbound lanes of the interstate. Two people on the motorcycle were airlifted to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
A sedan occupant was also said to have been injured, but their physical condition was not disclosed.
AZDOT crews did not announce closures, but told drivers to expect delays as they worked to clean up the scene.
