NORTHWEST PHOENIX, AZ – A male pedestrian lost his life after he was fatally struck by several vehicles in Northwest Phoenix on Tuesday.
The pedestrian-vehicle crash happened around 8 p.m. in the area of North 35th Avenue and Thomas Road, AZ Family said. Phoenix Police determined that the man was walking on northbound Thomas Road when he was hit by multiple vehicles.
Police said the male pedestrian did not use a crosswalk and was first hit by one vehicle and then two more.
The second and third vehicles allegedly fled the scene.
Police said the first driver exhibited no signs of impairment.
