SCOTTSDALE, AZ – According to 12 News, a driver struck and killed a female pedestrian near N Scottsdale Rd and E Thunderbird Rd on Saturday night.
The victim walked into the road from the sidewalk when the vehicle hit her.
Rescue crews pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Following the collision, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Authorities do not believe they were impaired.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
